The kameez is styled as a magnificent, full-sleeved Peshwas or Anarkali gown in a rich, traditional deep burgundy or maroon velvet/silk. The entire front, back, and sleeves are completely covered in dense, opulent antique gold and copper zari, dabka, naqshi, and crystal hand-embroidery. The neckline is a deep V-cut, heavily defined by the concentrated work. The full sleeves are similarly covered. The flare of the Peshwas opens at the front, revealing the layers beneath, and is finished with an elaborate, heavy border that features alternating panels of rich embroidery and contrasting teal/seafoam green detailing.
The bottom is a dramatic, multi-tiered gharara crafted in the same deep burgundy shade. The construction is elaborate, featuring layers of fabric adorned with wide bands of intricate gold embroidery. The lower tiers are defined by dramatic, voluminous frills or ruffles in burgundy fabric, interspersed with shimmering metallic gold kiran or lace detailing, creating exceptional volume and movement at the hem. A visible section of the gharara leg also features a heavy band of teal/seafoam green embroidery, tying back to the color accent on the Peshwas.
The dupatta is a substantial drape crafted from a delicate, sheer net or chiffon fabric in the matching deep burgundy/maroon color. It features concentrated gold and copper embellishments, including scattered motifs and fine borders. The edges are framed by a wide, intricate metallic gold border finished with delicate kiran lace, ensuring a rich and traditional drape that completes the bridal aesthetic.
